Outside of nonprofit work with HV CAMP, Jack started his own charity in 2013 called The OSIP Foundation, Inc., where OSIP stands for Outstanding Sportsmanship Is Paramount. OSIP's mission is to provide financial aid to victims of poor sportsmanship (like an umpire who is physically assaulted by a parent) as well as to educate people on sportsmanship to prevent these tragedies in the future.

Sportsmanship has always played an important role for Jack, not because everybody deserves a participation trophy, but because of the importance of following the golden rule and treating others the way we would like to be treated. So much of OSIP's mission and Jack's drive revolves around the hope that people win with humility, lose with grace, and do both with dignity.
Jack is joined at an OSIP trivia night by MLB umpire Chris Conroy (sleeve #98) as they raise money for UMPS Care Charities.
Much of Jack's work with OSIP has overlapped with his other endeavors. Through OSIP, Jack has created a bi-monthly podcast he hosts entitled "How You Play The Game;" he hosts local trivia nights at bars and restaurants to raise money for OSIP; and he published his first book, "On Sportsmanship: A Critical Reader and Handbook."
Jack is flanked by his high school buddies Justin Burrell (L) and Dan DeStefano (R) at the 2nd Annual OSIP Gala Fundraiser, circa 2024. Both Justin and Dan were presented with The John Landy Award for Sportsmanship Excellence not just for their good sportsmanship while growing up playing baseball together, but also for coaching the Hopewell Valley Senior Babe Ruth team with Jack.
